V. Brancazio
V is a Boston-based actor, writer, and artist whose work is rooted in collaboration. V is a believer in the process over product, theatre as a tool for education, and questioning everything.
V has learned the power and benefit of theatrical community building through their work with SITI Company, The Underlings Theatre Company, Emerson Stage, and One Song Productions. They are a member of StageSource’s Gender Explosion and seek to create a more gender diverse and inclusive theatre.
As a poet, V loves to explore feelings that they can’t quite succinctly articulate. V is a recipient of the 2021 Somerville LCC Fellowship Grant for Poetry. Their work has been published in the 2019 issue CONSTELLATIONS and will soon be featured in the 2021 issue of The Thing Itself. They have written and self-published “Break: Stories of Feeling Too Much,” a collaged zine about breakups and living with big feelings, which will soon be available online. Their work can also be found on Plush, an online creative space.
When not doing theatre or writing, V can be found biking, cooking, brewing coffee, or in the public library.
